Almunajem Foods Company is a Saudi joint stock company specializing in the import, distribution, and marketing of dry, chilled, and frozen food products. It is one of the largest food companies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The company began its operations as a sole proprietorship for trading food products in 1950. In addition, it operates fourteen branches, including twelve cold and freezing storage facilities, collaborates with approximately sixty global suppliers, and supplies around 18,000 sales outlets with food products. Almunajem Foods is listed on the main Saudi Stock Exchange, "Saudi Tadawul," under the name (Almunajem), and code (4162). The company's shares are traded in the main market within the food retail sector with a capital of SAR600 million.

The founder of Almunajem Foods Group, Abdullah al-Ali al-Munajem, began his activities in the early 1950s by importing vegetables and fruits. Then, the first cold storage facility was built in Riyadh, with a capacity of over two hundred t. In the early 1970s, his name was registered as the first to establish the largest cold storage facility in the Kingdom, with a capacity of over four thousand t.

Almunajem Foods Company specializes in the import, distribution, and marketing of food products, whether chilled or frozen. Its annual imports exceed 350,000 t, and it has exclusive rights to several global brands. The company holds a market share ranging from 10 to 30 percent of total consumption, depending on the type of product.

The company has branches in ten cities in the Kingdom (Riyadh, Jeddah, Makkah al-Mukarramah, Qassim, Dammam, al-Ahsa, Hail, Jazan, Sakaka, and Tabuk), covering a total area of more than two hundred thousand m² with a storage capacity of over fifty-five thousand t.

The company owns a large distribution fleet, consisting of over nine hundred refrigerated distribution trucks of various sizes. Each branch has its own management team and a specialized sales and marketing team. Over two thousand male and female employees work in the company in various specialties, including marketing, sales, and logistic support, as well as a team of engineers, and quality and safety specialists.

Within the retail sector, the company distributes over seven hundred different food products, both chilled and frozen, reaching more than 18,000 clients including supermarkets, mini markets, and grocery stores in cities and villages across the Kingdom.

The wholesale sector serves more than one thousand clients who, in turn, supply and provide hotels, restaurants, grocery stores, and catering companies with all the various items offered by the company.
