The International Coffee and Chocolate Exhibition is an annual international exhibition that brings together coffee and chocolate manufacturers and their derivatives in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Its first edition was inaugurated on December15, 2014, in the capital, Riyadh, under the title 'Because your day starts with a smile with the first cup of coffee and is sweetened by a piece of chocolate.'

The exhibition works to open new horizons and promote global brands, exchange experiences, showcase new products, increase sales opportunities, and hold competitions under one roof.

Objectives of the International Coffee and Chocolate Exhibition

The International Coffee and Chocolate Exhibition aims to promote the cultural heritage of the Kingdom and provide an opportunity for coffee and chocolate traders to showcase their latest and best products. It also offers investment opportunities for traders to display their products, allows visitors to discover, enjoy the tasting, and buy the finest coffee and chocolate from around the world, and opens the door for trade exchanges among Gulf and international companies.

Successes of the International Coffee and Chocolate Exhibition

The first edition of the International Coffee and Chocolate Exhibition achieved a remarkable attendance of over 15,000 visitors during its three-day run. It received extensive advertising coverage from forty local, Arab, and international media outlets, including television, radio, newspapers, magazines, and websites. Its events were also featured in several global media outlets.

More than thirty internationally renowned entities known for the quality of their products and their global market brands participated in the exhibition, along with several Arab and Gulf companies specializing in this field.

The coffee market in the Kingdom is valued at SAR50 million per year, and the Kingdom's market is one of the largest for chocolate in the world, with sales estimated at SAR500 million per year.

Sections of the International Coffee and Chocolate Exhibition

In its first edition, the International Coffee and Chocolate Exhibition dedicated a section for children called 'Coffee and Paper.' It also hosted various events and competitions such as the 'Cofique' competition and the coffee painting competition. Additionally, the exhibition organized practical workshops related to the use of machines and the preparation of different coffee varieties.
