Ar-Ruqi Port is a land port on the northeastern border of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the second port to link it with the State of Kuwait. Projects to develop land ports
The Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority pledged that the new ar-Ruqi Port, which was opened after its development in 2019, would mark the beginning of other projects aimed at enhancing land ports throughout the Kingdom. These will include the establishment and development of most land customs ports and the enhancement of their infrastructure, all with the goal of developing customs ports that reflect the reputation and status of the Kingdom and bolster its economy. This aims to transform the Kingdom into a global logistics platform in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030.
