Yes, Jacaranda trees can be found in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, particularly in the north in al-Jawf province, in the southwest in al-Bahah province, and more densely in Aseer province, particularly in the city of Abha, where there are about 15,000 Jacaranda trees, that bloom in spring.

The shades of purple dominate this tree, some varieties adorn themselves with white flowers, while its green leaves grow in an alternating pattern, and its branches form a curved shape like an inverted umbrella, giving it a distinct appearance. Its tall trunk, growing upwards, makes it a tree worthy of shade and suitable for planting along roadsides.

Saudi Arabia is moving towards intensifying and diversifying the vegetation cover through the "Saudi Green" Initiative by planting ten billion trees across its area, along with rehabilitating about 74 million ha of its land.

The genus "Jacaranda" includes about forty-five species among trees and shrubs, being deciduous in regions that experience harsh cold periods, and evergreen in temperate regions. This plant belongs to the Bignoniaceae family.
