Al-Jubail Mosque
Al-Jubail Mosque is a historical mosque located in al-Jubail Village, Thaqif Center, south of Taif Governorate in Makkah al-Mukarramah Province, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is around 1.5 km from Hassan Bin Thabit Road, connecting Taif to al-Bahah.
Historical importance of al-Jubail Mosque
Al-Jubail Mosque is of particular historical importance since it is one of the oldest mosques in Thaqif. Tales recount that the current building of the mosque is more than three hundred years old.
Development of al-Jubail Mosque
Al-Jubail Mosque is covered by the second phase of the Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Project for the Development of Historical Mosques. Its pre-development area covers a surface area of 287 m. It will cover an area of 310 m post-development. However, its capacity of forty-five worshipers will remain the same.
