L’architecture du palais de Tuwaiq
Tuwayq Palace spans an area of 77,000 m², surrounded by a wall measuring eight hundred m in length and twelve m in height, with a thickness of thirty cm of concrete. The exterior is covered with insulating material and pieces of stone. The wall encircles an inner garden rich with ornamental trees and waterfalls, interspersed with tents reaching a height of seven m. This design is in harmony with the surrounding desert environment and helps protect the palace from daytime heat. Three international companies participated in its design: Omrania & Associates, Frei Otto, and Bureau Happold. It was executed by Hanyang Corporation.
