Life of Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman

Women used to come to Princess Nourah in her palace in Riyadh to learn and seek support for their needs. She would then submit these requests to her brother, King Abdulaziz, who would address women's affairs and meet their needs. Princess Nourah was renowned for caring for children, encouraging them, and providing support for their education and families. She would welcome, honor, and celebrate female visitors and guests at the palace.

She married Prince Saud Bin Abdulaziz Bin Saud Bin Faisal and settled in al-Shamsiya Farm in Riyadh, where a palace was constructed for her.

Due to her elevated stature with her brother, King Abdulaziz, the latter would boastfully declare, 'I am the brother of Nourah' and 'I am the brother of al-Anwar.' This sense of chivalry permeated the royal family, leading its members to be nicknamed 'brothers of Nourah,' marking a significant recognition of women's stature within the Saudi State since King Abdulaziz's reign.
