Mohamed Abdulrahman Ramadan (died in 2024) was a Saudi sports commentator and writer. He was dubbed "Dean of Sports Commentators." He worked in sports journalism with several newspapers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He refereed many games and was the director of the Youth Welfare Office in Makkah al-Mukarramah.
Life of Mohamed Ramadan
He was born in al-Bab Neighborhood in Makkah al-Mukarramah. He was educated in one of its schools and studied at the Grand Mosque. He engaged in business with his father at a young age. He wrote for newspapers while he was still a student. He relocated to the capital, Riyadh, to complete his university education. He enrolled at the College of Business at King Saud University where he specialized in economics and political science.

He wrote for al-Yamamah Magazine, al-Bilad newspaper, and al-Jazirah newspaper. He also worked for the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.
Mohamed Ramadan's early career in sports commentary
Mohamed Ramadan engaged in sports commentary as a hobby. He used to imitate one of the commentators whose game description and commentary method interested him. One time, he was commenting at a children's show program studio in Makkah al-Mukarramah radio stations. He was loudly visualizing the game. He was noticed by one of the station's staff who asked him if he wanted to explore the field. He was assigned to the commentary department where he received training before commenting for the first time on a game in Makkah al-Mukarramah. He then traveled to Morocco to comment on one of the games of the Saudi team. He then started working as a sports commentator.
Death of Mohamed Ramadan
He passed away on Monday, April 29, 2024, after a struggle with illness.
