His Excellency Ahmed Bin Sulaiman al-Rajhi (born in 1967) has been the Saudi Minister of Human Resources and Social Development since 2018. He is the first minister to hold the portfolio of Human Resources and Social Development after its name was changed by a Royal Order to merge the Ministry of Civil Service with the Ministry of Labor and Social Development under its current name.

Education of Ahmed al-Rajhi

Ahmed al-Rajhi obtained a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals. He was distinguished by a practical vision supported by extensive experience in the commercial, governmental, and charity fields, which helped in the development and advancement of the Saudi labor market and the non-profit sector.

Ahmed al-Rajhi chairs the Board of Directors of the Human Resources Development Fund (Hadaf), the Social Development Bank, the National Center for Non-Profit Sector, the Social Charity Fund, the General Authority for Awqaf, the Orphans Care Charitable Foundation (Ekhaa), the National Committee for the Care of Prisoners and their Families, and Ex-convicts (Tarahum), the Family Affairs Council, the National Center for Social Studies, the Authority of People with Disability, Takamul Holding Company, Future Work Company, the Institute of Public Administration , Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Princess Seetah Bint Abdulaziz Award for Excellence in Social Work, and National Council of Occupational Safety and Health. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Economic Cities and Special Zones Authority (ECZA).
