Sheikh Abdulaziz Al-Twaijri Research Chair for Humane Studies is a research chair dedicated to the study of humanities. It was established at Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University (IMSIU) in Riyadh, the capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and is funded by the sons of Sheikh Abdulaziz Bin Abdulmohsin Al-Twaijri. The chair was established in 2012.
Objectives of the Sheikh Abdulaziz al-Twaijri Research Chair for Humane Studies
The chair aims to achieve its objectives by providing the necessary means to attract and train creative minds and distinguished talents in the field of humanities, establishing a suitable environment for research and development in related areas, and enhancing the integration of specialized scientific research in humanities within the university’s various units and research institutions, both inside and outside the university. Additionally, it seeks to align scientific research outcomes in humanities with the needs of Saudi society by fostering partnerships between the university and governmental and non-profit organizations while supporting specialized knowledge in the field of humanities.
