Mohammed al-Mukhlis is a Saudi athlete. Crowned four consecutive times as a Jiu-Jitsu World Champion, al-Mukhlis currently plays for al-Qadsiah Club.

Biography of Mohammed al-Mukhlis

Mohammed al-Mukhlis was born in Thar Governorate, Najran Province. The fifth among a family of twenty, his family moved to the Eastern Province in 2000, where he worked for Saudi Aramco for more than seventeen years.

Beginnings of Mohammed al-Mukhlis as a jiu-jitsu athlete

Mohammed al-Mukhlis started practicing jiu-jitsu in 2016, in the United States of America, where he was escorting his ill son for treatment. He joined one of the jiu-jitsu clubs before returning to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia where he resumed training. Upon his return to the USA, he continued training with a club in preparation for participating in world championships.

Joining al-Qadsiah Club

On January 27, 2024, Mohammed al-Mukhlis officially joined al-Qadsiah Club to establish and oversee the jiu-jitsu sport, as part of the club's adopted policy for various sports. The policy seeks to recruit prominent athletes in various sports, promote sports, particularly jiu-jitsu, and increase the number of jiu-jitsu players in the Kingdom.
