Hanan al-Ahmadi obtained her bachelor's degree in Economics from the College of Administrative Sciences at King Saud University. She then received a scholarship to pursue a master’s degree in Health Services Administration from Tulane University in the United States of America. Following that, she completed her postgraduate studies to obtain a doctorate in the same specialty from the University of Pittsburgh in the United States of America.

Professional career of Hanan al-Ahmadi

In 2017, Hanan al-Ahmadi worked as a professor in Health Administration at the Institute of Public Administration. She also served as the Director General of Women's Branch of the Institute of Public Administration from 2009-2013. Additionally, she worked as a consultant for several government institutions and participated in numerous international conferences, such as the sixty-second session of the Commission on the Status of Women at the United Nations in New York in 2018.

Hanan al-Ahmadi has held memberships in various councils and committees. She was a member of the evaluation committee for the King Khalid Award for Excellence in Non-Profit Organizations and the board of trustees at Prince Muqrin University. She also contributed a chapter on 'The Leadership Role of Women' in the book on Administrative Leadership. She published a qualitative study titled 'Determinants of Quality of Primary Care Services.' She participated in a study on the health sector's response as part of a research team affiliated with the Saudi Health Council. She also has scholarly works published in English.

Hanan al-Ahmadi in the Shura Council

Hanan al-Ahmadi was appointed as a member of the Shura Council from the sixth session in 2013 until October 20, 2020, when she was appointed Assistant Speaker of the Council, in the Excellent rank. Additionally, she was a member of the Committee on Economy and Energy, the Committee on Health Affairs and Environment, and the Fifth Parliamentary Friendship Committee at the Shura Council, concerned with parliamentary diplomacy with the European Union countries and a number of African countries.

During her years in the Shura Council, Hanan al-Ahmadi has represented the Council in parliamentary visits to several Arab and foreign countries and participated in conferences, meetings, and workshops.
