Gazi Faisal Bin Zager, born on January 14, 1964, has been the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Japan since January 2, 2024. He is a former member of the Shura Council in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and has held several positions in various entities. Additionally, he has held memberships in several committees and councils.

Educational qualifications of Gazi Bin Zager

Gazi Bin Zager obtained a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of California in 1986. He also obtained a master's degree in International Business Management from Thunderbird University in 1988, followed by a doctorate in Management and Organizational Development from New Mexico State University in 1997. His doctoral dissertation was titled 'Radical Change and Comprehensive Change and Development.'

Professional career of Gazi Bin Zager

Gazi Bin Zager has held numerous positions in various entities and has worked in academia. He taught Human Relations, Organizational Behavior, Group Behavior, Organizational Development, and Organizational Theory for four years, receiving a Teaching Excellence Award in 1994. He also chaired both Wessal Developmental Center and Wessal Development Company. He joined Binzagr Trading and Industrial Group. He served as partner and Chairman of the board for Ma'ad al-Rua'a for Social Development. He was the Deputy Chairman of Rubaiyat Company for Industry and Trade, and Vice President of Abdullah and Saeed Mohammed Obaid Bin Zagr. He was also the former President of Arabian Stores Co Ltd.

Gazi Bin Zager has been a member of several councils and committees, including the Honorary Advisory Board at Effat University and the Board of Directors of the Khadijah Bint Khuwailid Center at Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He has also volunteered as an advisor in several councils and committees affiliated with the Ministry of Labor (currently the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development) to improve the working environment in the Kingdom. Additionally, he was the chairman and member of the International Relations Committee at Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, an advisor to the president of Jeddah Economic Forum, an academic advisor and speaker at the same forum for several years, a former member of Jeddah Marketing Council, and a former member of the Retail Trade Committee at Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He was also a member of the Cooperative Training Committee of the General Organization for Technical Education and Vocational Training (currently the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation) in Jeddah Governorate.

Gazi Bin Zager was appointed to the Shura Council on January 15, 2013, a position he held until he was appointed Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Japan. During his tenure in the council, he was a member of the Social Affairs, Family, and Youth Committee, the Administration and Human Resources Committee, and the Foreign Affairs Committee. He also chaired the second Parliamentary Friendship Committee, which included parliaments from Britain, Ireland, Iceland, Nigeria, Ghana, Gambia, Togo, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Niger, Benin, and Cape Verde.
