Al-Reeth Governorate is one of the governorates in Jazan Province, southwest of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is home to 1.2 percent of the region's population, estimated at seventeen thousand individuals according to the Saudi Census of 2022.
The governorate is located on the eastern border of Jazan, about 150 km northeast of the city of Jazan (Emirate of Jazan Province). It is bordered by Wadi Bish to the north, Wadi al-Hayat (affiliated with Aseer) and al-Hashar Mountains to the east, Harub Governorate to the south, and al-Haqo and al-Fateeheh Centers (affiliated with the administrative capital Jazan) to the west.

King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Jazan is the closest airport to al-Reeth, located at a distance of 114 km. The airport has the capacity to accommodate approximately 3.6 million passengers annually.
Secondary Road 158 traverses the governorate's territory, serving as the main transportation route within the governorate and providing access to and from al-Reeth.
