Al-Edabi Governorate is a Category (B) governorate in the Jazan Province in the southwest of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is one of the five least populated governorates in Jazan, home to 2.3 percent of the province's population, estimated at 32,940, according to the latest official statistics.
Al-Edabi Governorate is located east of the Jazan Region, 69.5 km northeast of Jizan City, the seat of the emirate, and is bordered from the west by the governorates of Damad and Sabya; from the south by the governorates of al-Ardah and Abu Arish; from the east by Bani Malik Governorate; and from the north by al-Reeth Governorate.

Al-Edabi residents and visitors rely on King Abdullah International Airport in Jizan City, the nearest airport to the governorate, located 70.2 km away, with a capacity of up to 900 thousand passengers per year. Highway 5 crosses the governorate's western border and is the main land access route to and from al-Edabi.
