His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Bandar Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud (born in 1946) has been the Governor of Riyadh Province since 2015 and a member of the Allegiance Council. He is the thirteenth governor of Riyadh Province.
Prince Faisal Bin Bandar was born in Riyadh. He is the eldest son of Prince Bandar Bin Abdulaziz. He completed his primary education at the Model Capital Institute and received a bachelor's degree in Management in 1969 from King Saud University.
Positions held by Prince Faisal Bin Bandar
Prince Faisal Bin Bandar held several government positions. He was the Director of the Organization and Administration Department at the Ministry of Defense and Aviation (currently the Ministry of Defense) between 1973 and 1974. After that, he moved to the Ministry of Post, Telegraph, and Telephone (currently the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology) until 1978. He became deputy to the Emirate of Aseer for three years, then deputy governor of Aseer Province for eleven years. He was then appointed governor of Qassim Province for twenty-three years from 1992 until 2015, then assumed the Emirate of Riyadh Province.
