Amaala Yacht Club is a modern marina for yachts in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is located within the Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Nature Reserve, in the area of the Triple Bay, one of the tourist destinations in the Amaala Project, which stretches along the northwestern coast of the Kingdom on the Red Sea. The club was announced on May 23, 2022. The marina is designed in a modern style and includes 120 berths. It can accommodate yachts up to 130 m in length, and there is a designated entrance for support and supply boats.

Amaala Yacht Club Design

The design of the Amaala Yacht Club was inspired by the shape of rock formations, natural landscapes, and traditional architecture of the region, which pays attention to the natural airflow. The entrance to the club has the form of an arch that shades the yards and overlooks the Red Sea, while its ceiling is formed to look like domes reflecting a floor lit with stars. This design was carried out by an architecture firm called HKS.

Amaala Yacht Club space and services

The Amaala Yacht Club extends over an area of about 7,900 m² and consists of four floors that include a swimming pool, a restaurant overlooking the sea, and a lounge located on the club's roof. Moreover, it includes a berth that reaches eighty m designated to receive yachting events, hiking, guest services, and boat races, as well as docks for very big yachts and a floating fuel dock.

Amaala Project

Amaala is one of the modern tourist destinations within the perspective of the Saudi Vision 2030 and its goals. The first construction phase of the project will be completed in 2024. It aims to make local tourism one of the best global destinations, diversify the Saudi economy, and improve the tourism sector. After its completion, the project will contribute more than SAR3 billion to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP).

The Amaala Project consists of three tourist destinations: the Triple Bay, the developed coast, and the island. Amaala will offer comprehensive tourist services including health resorts with over 1,300 hotel rooms, and recreational activities according to international standards, in addition to shopping outlets, entertainment facilities, and restaurants. Amaala will be powered by renewable energy without relying on power stations.

More than one thousand workers will be employed in Amaala to construct the project and enable the infrastructure and the main assets. The project is expected to provide about fifty thousand direct and indirect jobs for the citizens.
