The Made in Saudi program is one of the Kingdom’s National Industrial Development and Logistics Program initiatives. The program focused on domestic services and products and was launched by the Saudi Export Development Authority in cooperation with several local industries. The program was launched by the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources in March 2021 through a virtual event that introduced the program's goals and vision.

Made in Saudi program's objectives

The Made in Saudi program aims at enhancing the local industrial sector, diversifying and increasing investment sources, turning the Kingdom into one of the leading industrial destinations in the world, encouraging national companies to export products to primary markets, in addition to supporting purchasing power by encouraging consumers in the Kingdom to buy locally manufactured products.

Furthermore, the program provides and enhances all industrial growth opportunities for local companies under a nationally unified brand. This will enable them to expand their businesses, compete in the market through their domestic products, and achieve access and stability on both national and international scales.

Made in Saudi program's benefits

The program offers many governmental incentives and benefits to its members, providing them with the necessary support and enabling them to market their products through the initiative. Its most notable features include listing the company's name on the program's official website, displaying its products in the directory, and using the program’s logo in all communication channels.

The Made in Saudi program also allows easy communication with governmental entities and enables its members to benefit from the expertise, advice, and support services in the industrial sector provided by the program’s partners from the public sector.

Other benefits involve using the Made in Saudi logo on the members' products that adhere to the standards of the program, in addition to strengthening the relationship between the program's members, including companies and partners in both the public and private sectors, participating in training, receiving consultations related to obtaining quality certification, and expanding to international markets.

Made in Saudi program's logo

After meeting the criteria and requirements of the Made in Saudi program, companies can use the program's logo, which was designed in two versions - vertical or horizontal. The logo must be displayed in its approved dimensions and colors, and it cannot be modified or combined with other symbols. Moreover, its basic form cannot be distorted, and its design cannot be changed to ensure adherence to the logo's standards. Upon company's registration, the brand’s guidelines will be shared with the members, alongside instructions on using the logo properly and effectively.

The logo was inspired by palm leaves representing the Kingdom’s riches and blessings as part of its heritage and unique features. Moreover, the palm that points to the top reflects the Kingdom's future aspirations.
