Conciliation Center (Taradhi)
The Conciliation Center "Taradhi" is an electronic center affiliated with the Ministry of Justice in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It aims to provide conciliation services through the digital Taradhi platform, striving to promote a culture of conciliation within society as the preferred social and economic alternative for dispute resolution. This is achieved through qualified and specialized conciliators across various dispute tracks, operating within approved institutional procedures.
'Taradhi' Conciliation Center
Taradhi platform operates under the Conciliation Center and aims to enable litigants, Ministry of Justice conciliators, and registered conciliators to conduct conciliation procedures to reach a mutually satisfactory resolution for disputing parties. This is carried out through fully automated procedures that begin with filing a conciliation request and conclude with issuing either a conciliation agreement or a declaration of non-conciliation.
The platform is considered one of the modern digital solutions, offering all its services remotely. This contributes to completing a higher volume of conciliation cases and simplifying the process for beneficiaries who are unable to attend conciliation offices in person.
Conciliation procedure mechanism
The Ministry of Justice has dedicated a digital portal for the Taradhi platform within its website, enabling beneficiaries to submit a conciliation request, specify its type, and complete the designated form. The request is subsequently accepted and assigned to an accredited conciliator based on the nature and type of the dispute.
The platform offers beneficiaries an integrated journey that begins with a text message notification detailing the time of the remote conciliation session. This is followed by convening the session and discussing the dispute to reach an agreement between the parties. The terms of the conciliation document are then approved electronically on the Taradhi platform via the Unified National Single Sign-On (Nafath), concluding the process with the issuance of an approved conciliation document from the Conciliation Center, which serves as an enforceable instrument binding on all parties.
Conciliation process for conciliators
The Taradhi platform relies on an elite group of fully qualified male and female conciliators across multiple specializations to manage the conciliation process. They are selected based on the nature and type of the dispute, and their role consists of bringing the disputing parties' views closer together to reach a conciliation agreement and issuing the necessary electronic documentation for it.
