Conciliation Center (Taradhi)

The Conciliation Center "Taradhi" is an electronic center affiliated with the Ministry of Justice in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Its regulation resolution was issued in 2013. The center aims to promote a culture of conciliation in society by providing conciliation services through the Taradhi e-platform. Its goal is to reach satisfactory settlements for conflicting parties and to promote conciliation as a preferred social and economic alternative for conflict resolution.

The Conciliation Center, through its Taradhi platform, seeks to resolve disputes swiftly, satisfying all parties involved. This is achieved through an automated process starting from the initiation of the conciliation claim, followed by identifying disputes between the parties and reaching settlement solutions, until the issuance of the legally binding conciliation document for all parties, ensuring complete confidentiality throughout these stages.

The center aims to spread the culture of reconciliation among community members, positioning it as the preferred economic and social option for resolving disputes. It seeks to bridge differences between disputing parties and maintain goodwill and connections in family, social, and business relationships. Conciliation encompasses several paths, including personal status, labor, real estate, intellectual property, criminal, traffic, and commercial matters.

The platform is characterized by the fact that the conciliation documents it issues serve as an executive instrument that obligates the concerned parties to comply with its stipulations. If any of the terms are breached, these documents can be brought before the judiciary. The platform allows for virtual and individual conciliation sessions and enables the complete digital processing of the conciliation procedure. This facilitates easy access to settlements and their swift conclusion. Additionally, mediators can communicate with all parties after submitting and scheduling the request via the platform, eliminating the need for courts. All these steps are carried out with complete confidentiality for all transactions related to the conciliation.

The Taradhi platform has facilitated the provision of an electronic platform for mediators, enabling them to schedule their requests and monitor their appointments, and allowing access to beneficiaries' requests and documents electronically. It has also made it easier for disputing parties to complete sessions by conducting them electronically without the need for physical presence, issuing executive bonds, and providing electronic offices for partner entities in the mediation project.

The conciliation request can be submitted by accessing the Taradhi platform, initiating the request, and selecting the type of conciliation. After setting the meeting date and type, whether in-person or electronic, a message with the details of the conciliation is sent to the parties involved, and the conciliation session is held according to the scheduled time. After the session concludes, the mediator drafts the binding document for the parties, and then the center's role is to review and approve it as an executive instrument.

The Conciliation Center provides more than five hundred qualified and trained mediators to facilitate the procedures and settle disputes. It has also launched a number of features and characteristics to complete the conciliation procedures, alongside electronic integration with internal entities, information exchange between systems, and improvements to the infrastructure to ensure system stability.
