

Al-Ahsa Center for Commercial Arbitration(ACCA) was established under the umbrella of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in al-Ahsa Governorate. It enjoys independent legal, administrative, and financial status. Its goal is to settle commercial disputes agreed upon by the parties, which will be resolved through arbitration or conciliation within the center's framework. It is considered a neutral party, represented by the chairman of the board of directors or someone authorized by them.
Regulations governing ACCA
The legal basis for the operations of ACCA is based on the following: the Arbitration Law and its Implementing Regulations, the licensing rules for Saudi arbitration centers, the center's articles of association and bylaws, procedural rules, advisory guidelines, and ethical code of the center, as well as any amendments to them and the decisions issued by the board of directors.
The center was established under the license issued by the Standing Committee for Saudi Arbitration Centers, under the licensing rules for Saudi arbitration centers, the Advisory Standards Regulation for Determining Arbitrators' Fees and Expenses, and the Arbitration Law and its Implementing Regulations.
Competences of ACCA
ACCA is competent with resolving the following disputes:
- Disputes among natural and legal persons if they agree to resort to the center.
- Disputes between merchants if they agree to resort to the center.
