Secondary Industrial Institute in al-Henakiyah

The Secondary Industrial Institute in al-Henakiyah is one of the secondary industrial institutes affiliated with the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is a government technical and vocational training center located in al-Henakiyah Governorate in al-Madinah al-Munawwarah Province and was established in 2011.

The Secondary Industrial Institute in al-Henakiyah aims to meet development needs by supplying the labor market with trained national personnel, building relationships and strategic partnerships with the labor market to implement joint technical and vocational training programs, and ensuring the growth of trainees' technical and vocational knowledge and skills by continuously developing training programs to meet labor market demands.

The Secondary Industrial Institute in al-Henakiyah includes several specialized vocational departments, namely the Construction Electricity Department, Automotive Mechanics Department, and Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Department.

The training year at the institute is divided into three training semesters, each lasting thirteen weeks. Graduates receive an Industrial Secondary Diploma upon completion of their studies.

The Secondary Industrial Institute in al-Henakiyah implements the Rafid Initiative, which aims to integrate trainees into the labor market before graduation to enhance their job skills. This initiative increases the likelihood of trainees securing employment after graduation and exempts them from cooperative training during their studies at the college, provided they meet the specified requirements.

The initiative seeks to achieve several objectives, including early refinement of trainees' technical and professional skills, strengthening their direct engagement with the labor market, facilitating graduates' integration into the workforce, enabling early detection and rapid response to labor market changes, and enhancing the efficiency of the training process.
