Khair al-Madinah Documentation Initiative

Khair al-Madinah Documentation Initiative was an initiative launched by Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah Research and Studies Center in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in May 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic to document initiatives carried out in Al-Madinah al-Munawwarah Province to mitigate the pandemic and its impacts on individuals and society.

Khair al-Madinah Documentation Initiative aims to document charitable efforts and initiatives in Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah Province, emphasize civil society solidarity, strengthen it across various segments, and utilize these efforts and initiatives while exchanging positive models.

Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah Research and Studies Center launched a website through Khair al-Madinah Documentation Initiative to enable targeted sectors to register their initiatives. These sectors include government entities, charitable organizations and institutions, volunteer teams, private sector companies, establishments, and individuals. The initiatives span various fields, including livelihood and nutrition, financial aid, healthcare and services, housing, quarantine facilities, transportation, education, training, culture, media, and other domains.

Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah Research and Studies Center designated the hashtag (#KhairAlMadinahDocumentation) on X (formerly Twitter) to track initiatives under the initiative. The initiative extended to all governorates, centers, and villages in Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah Province.

Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah Research and Studies Center collects information on Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah Province across various scientific and cultural fields, processing it through appropriate methods, including scholarly investigations, publishing books and manuscripts, compiling encyclopedias, conducting scientific research programs, and organizing workshops to enrich its history and civilization.
