Abha Summer Festival 2022

Abha Summer Festival 2022 is an entertainment festival launched by Aseer Development Authority, under the slogan Above the Mountains, from July 28, 2022, and September 24, 2022. The festival events were held in Sama Abha Park in Abha, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The festival offered a series of entertaining and social activities and events.

The festival offered around one thousand job opportunities to the residents of the province in the field of events organization and management. Additionally, it allowed them to acquire expertise and experience in the fields of marketing, tourism, and entertainment. Moreover, the festival contributed to supporting the community's economy.

Abha Summer Festival 2022 covered seven entertainment and tourism zones that welcomed tourists and visitors, including:

The Blue Stage: where various musical shows were held. Folk performances recounted the traditions and customs of the province and neighboring nations. The stage also hosted many artists.

The Carnival and Adventure Zone: a family-friendly entertainment area where games were held and various prizes were awarded.

The Kids Area: an open area dedicated to children under nine years old. It includes a jumping area, offers entertaining and educational workshops, and a cinema under the supervision of qualified professionals.

The Square Tent: it hosted interactive activities, such as music workshops and entertainment shows.

Khayrat Aseer: it offered an overview of the local agricultural harvesting practices of the province.

Market and Retail Zone: it exhibited local products of various brands.

Food Court: it was dedicated to offering local and international meals, under the supervision of Saudi and global chefs.

Held under the slogan of 'Your Guest is the Guest of Aseer', the festival offered many services that facilitated access to the events zone, namely by activating the principles of good hospitality. Furthermore, the 'Visit Saudi' website offered an overview of the performances, events, and activities, enabled booking of the festival's tickets, and offered the option of contacting the Tourist Care Service for filing inquiries and sharing feedback.

In addition, the festival provided around three thousand parking spots allocated on the premises of King Khalid University, in addition to two thousand parking spots in the festival's area, and around four hundred VIP parking spots.
