Esra Mansour Assery is the director general of the executive office of the Minister of Media and the former chief executive officer (CEO) of the General Commission for Audiovisual Media (currently the General Authority of Media Regulation) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. She is a founding member of the Saudi Female Professionals Network. She established several companies, including "eTree" for digital solutions, one of the companies sponsored by Endeavor Global in the Kingdom.

Academic and professional life of Esra Assery

Esra Assery holds a bachelor's degree in information systems management, a master's in business administration, and a fellowship with the McCain Institute for International Leadership. She assumed several positions in different entities, including positions with the Saudi Broadcasting Authority and the Saudi Industrial Development Fund. She worked with Wonder Women Tech and the McCain Institute in the United States of America.

Participations of Esra Assery

Esra Assery participated in the Harvard Business Development Program. She also worked as a Marketing Manager with SAB Bank and was a founding member of Temlan. She represented the Kingdom in several committees, including the G20 Entrepreneurs Alliance for four sessions.

Work of Esra Assery in audiovisual media

Esra Assery chaired the executive committee of the General Commission for Audiovisual Media (currently the General Authority of Media Regulation) from 2021 to 2022. During her term, she worked on restructuring the authority's sectors and its work and contributed to devising prospective plans and trends. She also supervised several initiatives and projects in her capacity as executive chairwoman of the authority, before she was appointed director general of the executive office of the Minister of Media, the office she oversaw its establishment and management.
