Saad Abdulaziz al-Khalab is the Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi EXIM Bank. He is the former Chairman of the Saudi Ports Authority and Deputy Minister of Transport and Logistic Services. He assumed several leadership positions in many private sector companies and establishments, in addition to several government and sub-committees.

Education of Saad al-Khalab

Saad al-Khalab obtained a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals. He attended several courses and workshops within his field of studies. He participated in the Advanced Management Program of the European Institute of Business Administration (INSEAD). He also attended intensive programs in the fields of financial management, bank credit, corporate financing, and strategic planning.

Professional experience of Saad al-Khalab

Saad al-Khalab held the position of the Chairman of the Saudi Ports Authority from 2018 until he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi EXIM Bank in 2021. He also was the Deputy Minister of Transport and Logistic Services. Al-Khalab holds experience in banking services and its fields, including global trade, logistic services, and import and export. He held leadership positions in the banking sector, including the Executive Chairman of Operations at the Saudi Awwal Bank (SAB) and HSBC Group, among other Saudi banks.
