The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has three maritime fronts, with a total coastline length of about 3,800 km. The total number of Saudi islands is 1,285, including six inhabited islands. They are:

Farasan al-Kabir

One of the Farasan Archipelago Islands, located about 20.5 NM from the port of Jazan.

Sajid Island

The second-largest island in the Farasan Archipelago, located approximately 23.8 NM from the coast.

Qummah Island

It is located within the Farasan Archipelago and is approximately 29.5 NM from the coast.

Tarut Island

It is a semi-circular island located east of the city of al-Qatif City on the Arabian Gulf, and it is 0.5 NM away from the coast. The island includes a group of farms and towns, including Tarut, from which it takes its name.

Abu Ali Island

It is located north of the industrial city of al-Jubayl on the Arabian Gulf, and it is 4.5 NM away from the coast.

Qanna Island (Junnah)

One of the islands located in the Arabian Gulf in the Eastern Province, with some residential centers, is situated 0.8 NM away from the coast.
