The LOGISTI Platform is a digital platform serving as the unified regulatory window for logistics services, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It aims to unify procedures related to logistics services in the Kingdom. It was launched by the Transport and Logistics System in 2023 during its participation at the 'LEAP 23' international technical conference. The platform encompasses approximately 140 electronic services to facilitate access to logistics services in the land, maritime, rail, and air transport sectors.
Launch of LOGISTI Platform
The Transport and Logistics System launched the platform in collaboration with the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program, the General Authority of Civil Aviation, the Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority, the Saudi Ports Authority, the Roads General Authority, and the Saudi Arabia Railways 'SAR.' The platform features an interface categorizing services by logistics sectors, and a navigation traffic map. It also features important details for investors about shipping lines for import and export, as well as information on ports, companies, shipping costs, and other services that contribute to enhancing the investor's journey and facilitating businesses.
In March 2024, the Transport General Authority announced the migration of a range of services from its electronic Naql Portal to the LOGISTI Platform. These services include 'Land and Sea Transport,' 'Bayan Documents, Cargo Documentation,' 'Tajeer,' 'City Entry,' and 'Receipt.' The integration of transport system services and logistics services into a unified platform is based on a group of criteria, including legislation and strategic directions, the platform's linkage to other government sectors, in addition to the type of operational or executive services, and the type of platform, whether knowledge-based or service-based.
Objectives of LOGISTI Platform
The LOGISTI Platform aims to unify logistics services under one portal, facilitating user registration, login, and follow-up on requests. It also accelerates service procedures safely, achieving efficiency. Additionally, it helps reduce human errors that may result from multiple platforms and raises quality through integration and coordination among relevant entities. This leverages the benefits of expanding electronic services to support the logistics sector.
Services of LOGISTI Platform
The LOGISTI Platform offers various services for different transport sectors in the Kingdom. For instance, in the land transport sector, the platform allows for submitting and following up on requests for licenses for vehicles and operators providing activities and services in goods and parcel transportation on Saudi roads. Its services for the maritime sector encompass the submission and follow-up on applications for licenses and services related to maritime transport activities, in addition to licenses related to maritime ports within the Kingdom.
Furthermore, for the air transport sector, the platform enables beneficiaries to submit and manage license applications related to air freight of goods. For the rail transport sector, it allows investors and companies to issue licenses for goods transportation activities and services via railway lines between Saudi cities.
