Naql Portal

Naql Portal is an electronic platform that enables individuals and entities working in the transportation sector, in all its forms, to apply for the necessary licenses remotely, to execute their activities. It allows them to complete all procedures and processes electronically, eliminating the need to visit the Ministry of Transport and Logistics Services or its branches and eliminating the need to print any paper transactions.

Naql Portal is the digital gateway of the Transport General Authority for licensing, issuance, and partner care services in all transportation activities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is one of the security transportation services affiliated with Elm Information Security Company. The portal manages and receives all services related to land and maritime transport activities and permits and processes them electronically to verify the identities of individuals and entities, maintain confidentiality, and save time and effort for both the authority and its users. Additionally, it aims to improve the authority's services and enhance the efficiency of the Saudi logistics sector to solidify its global standing.

Naql Portal allows the electronic conducting of services provided by the Transport General Authority without the need to visit the authority’s branches or print any paper transactions. These services include the issuance of establishment licenses, vehicle operation cards, driver cards, vehicle registration cards, ship registration, marine surveyor cards, traffic letters, and recognition and insurance certificates.

Naql Portal branches into seven digital portals specialized in managing land and maritime transport means, which are: The Land Transport Portal and Maritime Transport Portals, enabling investors and beneficiaries to execute operations and procedures related to the land and maritime transport sectors; the Leasing Contracts Portal, which regulates vehicle leasing activities and protects the parties involved; the Ferries Portal, which manages passenger trips between Jazan City and Farasan Island, allowing them to book, follow up, and issue reports related to shipping operations for each trip, the Foreign Yachts Portal, which organizes navigation license requests for yacht owners wishing to cruise in Saudi territorial waters; the Cargo Documentation Portal, enabling carriers and freight forwarders to issue cargo documentation for transported goods and verify shipment information and status; and the City Entry Portal, allowing cargo holders to book truck appointments for city entry during restricted times.

The Transport General Authority announced in 2021 that the activities of Naql Portal had expanded significantly, with more than one million people benefiting from its electronic services, more than 15,000 establishment licenses issued, nearly seven hundred thousand vehicle operation cards, and more than 150,000 driver cards. Additionally, the portal facilitated over three thousand electronic transactions for the land and maritime transport sectors.
