Al-Tatweer Private Industrial City is one of the private industrial cities under the supervision of the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones "MODON." It was established in 2007 under the name "the City of the Arab Company for the Development of Water and Private Industrial Energy" in Riyadh City. It is owned and developed by the Industrial Cities Development and Operating Co. Ltd. (ICDOC) and operated by ASAS for Developing and Operating Industrial Cities (ASAS).

Al-Tatweer Private Industrial City was established in 2007. It was previously named the City of the Arab Company for the Development of Water and Private Industrial Energy. In 2020, it received a renewal license to continue the project, and it was renamed "al-Tatweer Private Industrial City."

Al-Tatweer Private Industrial City is located south of Riyadh's Second Industrial City, in the capital city, Riyadh, on al-Kharj New Road. Its area is 1,361,000 m. It targets several industries, including electrical industries, food industries, and building materials. The city comprises a total of thirty facilities within its borders.

The Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones “MODON" was established in 2001 to develop industrial lands and integrated infrastructure. Moreover, the authority supervises thirty-six existing and under-development industrial cities distributed across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and oversees private industrial complexes and cities.
MODON is responsible for developing fully serviced industrial lands and supervising private industrial complexes and cities. Furthermore, MODON works to develop and enhance its investment ecosystem with the Quality of Life Program standards to meet the aspirations of its private sector partners and empower women, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), and entrepreneurs. It possesses industrial, investment, and logistical assets that rank it among the world's largest industrial cities, boasting over 209 million m of developed land, more than 6,443 factories, and over 1,323 ready-to-use factories.
In addition to al-Tatweer Private City, MODON also oversees several private industrial cities, including King Salman Energy City 'Spark,' al-Zamil Private Industrial City, al-Ojaimi Private Industrial City, Petro Rabigh Private Industrial City, the Private Industrial Gate City, Kaden Industrial Complex for Logistics Services, the Complex of Construction Products Holding Company (CPC), the Complex of Riyadh Cables Group Company, the Complex of Saudi Ceramic Company, and others.
