A Saudi tourist visa is obtained through the Visit Saudi website, which is affiliated with the Ministry of Tourism. This applies to tourists from eligible countries, including sixty-six countries across Europe, America, Asia, Oceania, and Africa. The tourist fills out the required information on the website, including personal details and passport information. Following this, various health insurance companies are presented for the tourist to choose from. Once a selection is made, the insurance policy is issued by the health insurance provider and can be downloaded from the provider's website. The processing time for obtaining the visa takes between five and thirty minutes, after which it is sent to the applicant by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Alternatively, the tourist can obtain the visa upon arrival in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the immigration authority's visa offices.
For tourists from non-eligible countries, they can approach Saudi diplomatic missions abroad to obtain a visa. Additionally, tourists holding a visa for the United States, the United Kingdom, or Schengen countries can apply for a visa upon arrival in the Kingdom.
