Visit Saudi is the official identity of the Saudi Tourism Authority. It aims at attracting tourists to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and promoting it as a global tourist destination by highlighting the characteristics, rich culture, and diverse natural terrain of Saudi cities. Moreover, Visit Saudi also creates agreements with public and private entities in the tourism industry.

Visit Saudi organizes many winter and summer programs, competitions, and activities. It also launches promotional campaigns for events and seasons, including packages and accommodation offers, tourism adventures, and travel tickets.

The platform also announces media competitions that encourage professional and creative people to depict Saudi destinations aesthetically and document them through audio-visual media, printed press, and photographs. In this light, the Media Excellence Award was launched in 2020 during the Saudi Summer initiative with the slogan “tanaffas,” which translates to "breathe" in Arabic.

Visit Saudi platform is a guide for tourism in the most important cities, destinations, and landmarks of the Kingdom. It educates tourists on the dress code, behavior, and public morals of Saudi culture. The platform allows its users to learn about the Saudi climate during the four seasons and improves the tourist experience by providing the projected temperature during their stay in the Kingdom. All information on the platform is available in eight languages: Arabic, English, French, Spanish, Japanese, Russian, German, and Chinese.

Visit Saudi platform provides a brief overview of people's traditions, dress code, and the language used in daily interaction. Furthermore, it introduces the Saudi currency, how to exchange foreign currencies, transfer and receive money, and the tax rate on goods and services.

The platform facilitates transportation for tourists, whether from outside the Kingdom or between its cities, through the Transportation page, which contains a list of international, regional, and domestic airports, in addition to railway tracks and other means of transportation, such as buses and taxis.

The platform also provided a list of important phone numbers that tourists might need during their visit on one page. For example, emergency numbers include those for the Saudi Ambulance, Civil Defense, consumer services, and tourism services, such as the Tourism Call Center, and a number for general inquiries. The platform provides support to its users through several electronic means and direct international communication lines.

The Visit Saudi platform provides guidance as well as various tourist information and plans to boost Saudi tourism and attract tourists. Its helpful information includes guides that help tourists learn about available options while visiting Saudi cities for a certain period of time. Each guide offers options in accommodation, entertainment, restaurants, and famous cafes, as well as city tourist attractions, such as monuments and museums. The guide also enables tourists to discover which activities are suitable for each city based on its geographical and climatic nature.

In cooperation with the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Visit Saudi has provided an e-tourist visa issuance service to over forty-nine countries in Europe, Asia, America, and Oceania since September 2019, through its website or app.
