The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia annually organizes a number of events and festivals to stimulate tourism both domestically and internationally, and to promote the cultural and civilizational heritage of the Kingdom. Here is a list of ten festivals that have been held or are held in the Kingdom:

"Janadriyah" National Heritage and Culture Festival

The "Janadriyah" National Heritage and Culture Festival is one of the oldest festivals in the Kingdom, launched in Riyadh City in 1985. Initially organized by the National Guard (currently the Ministry of National Guard), the festival's organization was later taken over by the Ministry of Culture. It includes heritage activities showcasing the Kingdom's cultural heritage and features a theater, exhibition halls, and model buildings representing all Saudi cities.

Souk Okaz Festival

The first edition of the Souk Okaz Festival was launched in 2007 and is held in Taif Governorate in Makkah al-Mukarramah Province. It serves as a cultural, artistic, and historical forum, attracting intellectuals and those interested in culture and poetry.

Al-Jawf Olive Festival

Al-Jawf Olive Festival was launched for the first time in 2008 to market and promote olives produced from farms in al-Jawf Province. A number of government entities and institutions participate in the festival, which is accompanied by various entertainment activities. Several exhibitions are also held, featuring products from productive families, olives, and olive-related products.

Al-Ahsa Palms and Dates Festival

Al-Ahsa Palms and Dates Festival, organized by al-Ahsa Governorate Municipality, was launched in its first edition in 2012. It coincides with the date harvest season in al-Ahsa Oasis, one of the Kingdom's prominent date palm provinces. The festival promotes tourism in the area through various entertainment activities.

Historic Jeddah Festival

The Historic Jeddah Festival was launched for the first time in 2014, coinciding with the inclusion of the Historic Jeddah area on the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) World Heritage List. The festival highlights the Kingdom's historical and cultural significance and introduces the residents and visitors of Jeddah to the province's historical heritage.

King Abdulaziz Camel Festival

The King Abdulaziz Camel Festival is held annually in ad-Dahna' Desert or southern as-Sayahid. The festival was relaunched in its new edition in 2017, featuring cultural, entertainment, and sporting events. It attracts camel enthusiasts from both within the Kingdom and abroad, with over 1,800 participants and approximately 38,000 camels taking part annually.

ِAd-Dir'iyyah Equestrian Festival

ِAd-Dir'iyyah Equestrian Festival is held at al-Duhami Farm in the historic ad-Dir'iyyah area as part of ad-Dir'iyyah Season. The festival was launched in its first edition in 2018. It includes horse races and show jumping competitions. Points from the festival's competitions count towards the participating riders' qualification for the World Equestrian Olympics.

King Abdulaziz Falconry Festival

The King Abdulaziz Falconry Festival is an annual global event organized by the Saudi Falconry Club in Riyadh City. It was launched in its first edition in 2019 to focus on falconry, protect falcons, and celebrate them. The festival attracts falconers and hunting enthusiasts from the Kingdom and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries through traditional falconry competitions such as al-Mallouah and Mazayen.

Taif Rose Festival

The Taif Rose Festival, or the Taif Rose Festival, coincides with the rose harvest season in the farms of al-Hada and al-Shafa centers in Taif Governorate during spring. The festival annually attracts hundreds of thousands of enthusiasts for this flower and its products, which Taif City is known for. The festival also features various traditional, entertainment events, and flower exhibitions.

Buraydah Date Festival

The Buraydah Date Festival is considered one of the largest date festivals in the world and one of the most prominent economic and tourism festivals on a national level. It is an annual event held in Buraydah City in the Qassim Province.
