Beginnings of education in Tabuk City
Formal education in Tabuk Province began in 1925 in the form of schools. The first three schools were opened in Duba, al-Wajh, and Ummlujj Governorates, and were called Amiri Schools. In the Saudi era, the beginnings of formal schools in Tabuk City traced back to the 'Saudi School,' which was opened in 1947 under the guidance of the Founding King Abdulaziz Bin Abdulrahman Al Saud. At that time, the school had forty students. The Saudi School was built from mud and stones and consisted of four rooms. The curriculum included the Holy Quran, Tawhid, Fiqh, handwriting, spelling, and arithmetic.
