King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital is a government-specialized hospital located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It covers an area of 2.5 km. Its establishment began in 1979 by the order of King Khalid bin Abdulaziz al-Saud and was inaugurated during the reign of King Fahd bin Abdulaziz al-Saud in 1983.
The hospital is supervised by the Ministry of Health and is funded by the Self Financing Fund Development. The organizational structure includes an advisory board. More than 53 percent of consultant ophthalmologists received their graduation from King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital. The hospital is among the three government-specialized hospitals for ophthalmology in the Kingdom and the first hospital in the Middle East to achieve HIMSS Stage 7 EMRAM in the clinical services sectors twice. On March 14, 2023, the Council of Ministers preliminarily approved the transformation of King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital into an independent non-profit entity owned by the Royal Commission for Riyadh City. Its name will be King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital and Research Center.

According to the 2022 statistics, King Khaled Hospital has a capacity of about 250 beds and employs 1,800 staff, including 198 doctors and 412 nurses. It includes eight specialized departments in ophthalmology. The hospital has succeeded in elevating the level of medical services provided, which led to the reduction of critical illnesses within Saudi Arabia, including trachoma, which causes blindness.

The hospital provides medical care for everyone and offers training for healthcare professionals, including doctors, technicians, and ophthalmic assistants. As an educational hospital, it provides a fellowship program under the supervision of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties. It also focuses on conducting research related to prevalent diseases in the Kingdom. The hospital's research center publishes more than a hundred research articles annually in refereed scientific journals.

The hospital's department buildings are characterized by their geometric shapes that form a right angle and are faced from the northern side by several fountains. The hospital's mosque is located on the southern side, separated by a water fountain, facing the hospital's public parking lots. At the main entrance of the hospital's facade, there is an image of King Khalid bin Abdulaziz, in appreciation of his efforts, surrounded by arabesque motifs. The hospital's logo consists of the hospital's name in the form of a cornea, written in calligraphy and colors, symbolizing clarity of vision.
