Tuwaiq Academy is an educational institution in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia focused on providing advanced programs in technology and programming, affiliated with the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming, and Drones. The academy was launched in 2019 and is based at Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University in the capital Riyadh.
The Tuwaiq Academy aims to qualify one hundred thousand programmers by 2030 by offering training courses and programming bootcamps to empower human resources and build their digital capabilities in various futuristic scientific domains, in line with Saudi Vision 2030.

The Tuwaiq Academy has established partnerships with ten global companies, which have opened their advanced academies in Riyadh, such as Google, Microsoft, Apple, Amazon, IBM, and Cisco.
Tuwaiq 1000 Bootcamp
Tuwaiq Academy, in collaboration with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and Google, launched the Tuwaiq 1000 Bootcamp Initiative. The Bootcamp was held in various regions around the Kingdom to widely empower national cadres. The initiative involves training and qualifying one thousand male and female students according to international standards and domestic labor market requirements in cybersecurity and programming.
Programming tracks at Tuwaiq 1000 Bootcamp
Programming tracks at Tuwaiq 1000 Bootcamp include the Tuwaiq Programming Track – a training program in web and mobile devices – that aims to develop and qualify human resources in the latest programming languages. Courses offered by the Track are JavaScript, Java, Kotlin, Python, Swift, and C#.
Other available programs encompass a Cybersecurity Track aiming to qualify trainees in the fields of digital forensics, vulnerability assessment, and penetration and incident response testing. Tuwaiq also provides a Cybersecurity Bootcamp as well as a Cloud Computing Track – which works to establish a local talent ecosystem and foster Saudi cadres in cloud computing, equip them with professional and scientific expertise, and help them start their careers.
Furthermore, Tuwaiq provides a Game Programming Track to train students in game design, development, and production and dedicates a special bootcamp for gaming.
Tuwaiq Academy Statistics
As of mid-July 2024, Tuwaiq Academy has offered 1,179 programs and bootcamps, with around 1.4 million male and female students registered and more than 15,000 graduates, according to the academy's website.
