The Maqam of the Prophet Ibrahim peace be upon him (PBUH) is located adjacent to the Eastern Wall of al-Kaaba al-Musharrafa, within the Mataf area. It contains a historical stone with dimensions of about fifty cm in length, width, and height. In its center, the imprints of the feet of Prophet Ibrahim (PBUH) appear in two oval-shaped holes. These were formed when Prophet Ibrahim stood on the stone while building al-Kaaba al-Musharrafa, and his son, Prophet Ismail (PBUH), handed him stones for the construction. As Prophet Ibrahim finished building one side, he moved the stone to the next side until the construction of the Kaaba was completed from all four sides.

The base of Maqam Ibrahim (PBUH) is made of white marble, adorned with green granite. The height of the Maqam is about 1.30 m, with a diameter at the bottom of forty cm and a thickness of twenty cm on all sides. The external diameter at its base is eighty cm, and its circumference at the base is 2.51 m.
