The Center for Research and Intercommunication Knowledge is an independent scientific research center located in Riyadh City, the capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It was established in January 2016. The center is concerned with studying international relations and politics, contemporary studies, research in cultures, and foresight, as well as providing special training and qualification programs in research, studies, and translation.

Objectives of the Center for Research and Intercommunication Knowledge

The Center for Research and Intercommunication Knowledge aims to enhance the role of scientific research and various thinking methodologies, and raise awareness about their importance and methods. It builds local and international partnerships for intercommunication knowledge through cultural and intellectual programs and events between the Kingdom and the peoples of the world.

It also seeks to enrich the field of thought and research locally and regionally with research publications, books, reports, periodicals, and translations that keep pace with regional and international changes. Additionally, the center adopts, analyzes, and processes serious studies and research.

Fields of the Center for Research and Intercommunication Knowledge

The Center for Research and Intercommunication Knowledge produces peer-reviewed research, with nineteen peer-reviewed scientific papers published until 2023 by various researchers specializing in different fields and studies, from within and outside the Kingdom.

The center has also published several dictionaries, including 'Hausa-Arabic Dictionary', 'Tamasheq Dictionary' (Arabic-Tuareg), 'Nubian Language Dictionary', 'Amazigh Dictionary', 'Dictionary of Terms and Phrasal Expressions', and 'On the Origins of Idiomatic Expressions in our Modern Standard Arabic', as well as the full version of the dictionary 'Al-Ubbab al-Zakhir wal-Lubab al-Fakhir' by the scholar al-Hasan al-Saghani.

The center also published sixteen specialized studies in various political, economic, and social fields, and issued 563 reports, including 396 reports exclusive to the center and 167 translated ones, in addition to four regularly published journals.

The center executes its activities through specialized units, including the 'Intellectual Studies Unit', the 'Chinese Studies Unit', the 'Central Asia Studies Unit', the 'Southeast Asia Studies Unit', the 'Turkish and Kurdish Studies Unit', the 'Iraq and Syria Studies Unit', the 'Sub-Saharan Africa Studies Unit', and the 'Foresight and Crisis Management Unit'.
