The Company for Cooperative Insurance (Tawuniya) is a Saudi joint-stock company listed on the Saudi Exchange 'Saudi Tadawul'. It was established on January 18, 1986, with its headquarters located in the capital, Riyadh. It engages in various insurance types in accordance with the cooperative insurance principle that is accepted by Islamic Sharia.‏

It was listed on 'Saudi Tadawul' on March 12, 2005. Its shares are traded on the main market within the insurance sector, under the name (Tawuniya), symbol (8010), and International Securities Identification Number (ISIN) (SA000A0DPSH3). Its authorized and paid-up capital is SAR1.5 billion.

The Company for Cooperative Insurance was established in 1986. It is a Saudi joint-stock company registered under Commercial Registration No. 1010061695, dated January 18, 1986. Tawuniya obtained License No. TMN/1/200412 from the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) to operate in the insurance sector in accordance with the Cooperative Insurance Companies Control Law.

In 2021, Tawuniya launched its 2025 strategy to keep pace with fundamental market changes, both locally and globally, and contribute more significantly to supporting the national economy and serving the Saudi community. Through its strategy, Tawuniya aims to become one of the major insurance companies in the Middle East and North Africa region.
