Tanmiah Food Company is a Saudi public joint-stock company operating in the poultry industry. It was established in 1976, with a fully paid-up capital of SAR200 million. The company began as a sole proprietorship under the name al-Tanmiah Agricultural Establishment owned by Abdullah al-Dabbagh, registered in Jeddah with the Commercial Registration No. 4030009579 in 1976. It operated five branches distributed in Jeddah, Dammam, al-Madinah al-Munawwarah, and two branches in Riyadh.
In 1991, Hussein al-Dabbagh, Jamal al-Dabbagh, Amr al-Dabbagh, and al-Tanmiah Commercial Group contributed to the establishment. The establishment was divided and converted into two limited liability companies, one named 'Supreme Foods Company Limited' and the other named 'Agricultural Development Company Ltd.' Subsequently, Abdullah al-Dabbagh, Hussein al-Dabbagh, Jamal al-Dabbagh, and Amr al-Dabbagh transferred all their shares in the company to al-Dabbagh Holding Group as a new partner in the company. At the same time, al-Tanmiah Commercial Group transferred part of its shares in the company to al-Dabbagh Holding Group. In 2004, based on the partners' decision, the company's capital was increased to SAR50 million. In 2009, the company further increased its capital to SAR100 million. In 2019, the company transformed from a limited liability company into a closed joint-stock company named 'Tanmiah Food Company for Trading' pursuant to Ministerial Resolution No. (Q/148) of 2019. Based on the Extraordinary General Assembly's resolution in 2019, the company's capital was increased to SAR200 million, divided into twenty million ordinary shares with a nominal value of SAR10 per share.
In 2021, six million ordinary shares, representing 30 percent of Tanmiah Food Company's capital, were offered for public subscription at an offering price of SAR67 per share.
