The Intellectual Security Enhancement Program in the Emirate of Qassim Province, is an initiative launched by the Governor of Qassim Province, Dr. Faisal Bin Mishaal Al Saud. Its inception began with the launch of the campaign 'Together Against Terrorism and Extremist Ideology' on May 18, 2015. The program was officially launched on November 18, 2019, with its primary goal being to combat extremism, terrorism, fanaticism, tribalism, and any extremist ideologies.

The program's campaigns began with awareness programs, dialogues, and specialized intellectual seminars, targeting all members of society without exception. The main driving force behind them was the declaration of war against extremist ideologies, the creators of terrorism, extremism, and deviant thoughts.

The program aims to promote the concept of belonging and loyalty to the homeland, reject anything that divides citizens, and create a national awareness framework for government, private, and charitable entities. It focuses on the youth, building a barrier between them and terrorism, extremist ideologies, and all forms of extremism. Additionally, it addresses external threats that undermine the security and stability of the nation.

The program has received several commendations for its concept, content, objectives, and implementation mechanism. It advocates for moderation and distancing from destructive beliefs and ideas. The Emirate of Qassim Province has been actively involved in various national and public forums and events through this program to increase awareness of its goals and aspirations and to engage the community in its success.

Language of numbers in the Intellectual Security Program

The program provided more than one thousand psychological, social, and family consultations through its diverse participation in public events and festivals. The number of beneficiaries from the events and forums exceeded 492,800 individuals, and the program's organizers distributed approximately ten thousand informational brochures about it.

The program organized about eighty-six different activities, benefiting around 39,500 beneficiaries. More than five thousand gifts were distributed to event attendees. The number of beneficiaries from the 'Together Against Terrorism and Extremist Ideology' campaign exceeded 850,000 beneficiaries. The events included various activities, mainly lectures, seminars, and awareness messages.
