Alat Company is a specialized company in smart, advanced technologies, and electronics, aiming to make the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia a global center for sustainable industries. Its establishment was announced on February 1, 2024. It is one of the companies of the Public Investment Fund, and its board of directors is chaired by the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

Alat Company manufactures products targeted at both local and global markets within seven strategic business units, which are: Advanced Industrials, Smart Buildings, Smart Appliances, Semiconductors, Smart Devices, Smart Health, and Next Gen Infrastructure. Alat Company manufactures within more than thirty categories, including: Communication systems, robotics systems, digital entertainment products, advanced computer devices, and sophisticated heavy equipment used in construction, mining, and building.

Alat Company is expected to create more than 39,000 direct job opportunities in the Kingdom, with its direct contribution to the non-oil GDP reaching SAR35 billion by 2030. The company also provides sustainable manufacturing solutions for global companies through clean energy resources in the Kingdom, aiming to achieve net-zero emissions by 2060, in line with the Public Investment Fund's target to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050. Additionally, it enables global industrial companies to benefit from the competitive advantages of the Saudi economy and its geographic location, as well as its investments in the technology sector.

It aims to enhance the capabilities of the technology sector in the Kingdom, capitalize on its pace of development, increase its contribution to local content, and enhance its attractiveness and ability to create investment opportunities.
