History of National Company for Learning and Education

The company operates in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under commercial registration number 1010178851, dated July 14, 2002. The company's headquarters is located in Riyadh City, and its origins date back to 1958 when it was established as the Saudi Kindergarten for children. In 1959, the name was changed to the Tarbiya Namouthajiya Schools. In 1992, a branch was established as a sole proprietorship under the name the Tarbiya Schools, with commercial registration number 001/1010006017 and a capital of SAR1.2 million. By the Minister of Commerce Resolution No. (346) dated May 15, 2002, the company transitioned from a sole proprietorship to a closed joint-stock company, and its capital was increased in cash to SAR122.78 million. The entire capital was subscribed in full through a private placement, representing the net assets of the schools as reflected in the financial statements at the time of the conversion, including fixed and current assets. On June 20, 2006, the capital was increased through capitalization of retained earnings and infusion of cash amounts to SAR200 million. The capital was further increased to SAR300 million on February 14, 2016, by capitalizing retained earnings and statutory reserves.
