Aldrees Petroleum and Transport Services Company is a Saudi joint-stock company listed on the Saudi Stock Exchange "Saudi Tadawul". It was founded in 1962. In 1963, the company established its first fuel station on ar-Rail Street in Riyadh. In 1965, the company built and operated its first fully-owned fuel-filling station on Dhahran Street in Riyadh City.

In 2001, the name "Aldrees" came to prominence, establishing the conceptual framework for the brand image that includes the iconic petroleum drop symbol. By 2005, the total number of retail outlets operated fully by the company reached 119. In March 2006, the company was converted into a public joint-stock company.

On March 14, 2006, the company was listed on "Saudi Tadawul." Its shares trade on the main market within the energy sector under the name "Aldrees," symbol (4200), and ISIN (SA000A0HNGZ6). As of April 15, 2021, the company's capital is SAR750 million.

The electronic (WAIE) system in Aldrees Company

Aldrees Petroleum and Transport Services Company has implemented an electronic fuel supply system, which it named (WAIE). The company affirms that it is the first company in the Kingdom to use this technology to efficiently and cost-effectively handle customer service. The company introduced the electronic fuel supply system through pumps equipped with a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) system called (WAIE) to provide safe, convenient, cashless services to customers. The mechanism of the WAIE card reading system, placed at the vehicle's distribution nozzle, identifies pre-known fuel standards. It then proceeds with refueling and stops once verification of correct data is confirmed.

The transport fleet of Aldrees Company

The fleet of transport vehicles at Aldrees Petroleum Services consists of 4,367 trucks and trailers, serving the Kingdom and neighboring countries to deliver goods to its customers. The distribution network is designed to cover major cities, towns, and villages across the Kingdom. The company has announced meeting customer needs with its transportation division achieving a 90 percent on-time delivery rate. The transportation division employs around 1,260 drivers and approximately four hundred technical and administrative staff members.
