The mark is granted to factories, farms, and companies after meeting the technical and standard requirements in food safety, complying with the requirements of international markets, and following a number of procedures and visits to ensure the entity's conformity to the center’s requirements, along with payment of a fee.
The Saudi Dates Mark is valid for one year from the date of issuance and secures a multitude of advantages. It raises the market value of products, guarantees premium quality, broadens products’ marketing opportunities in the local and international markets, and contributes to creating food value for consumers.
