Absher Application is a governmental electronic application designed to enable users to access electronic government services in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It was launched on the App Store in 2015 and on Google Play Store in 2016. It belongs to the Absher Platform, which was established in 2010. The National Information Center is the entity that operates and supervises the application.

Absher Application services

The application provides many services including: viewing followers' information, displaying the timeline of personal and vehicle documents, viewing details of traffic violations and vehicle information, booking appointments with various sectors, reporting lost documents, recruiting and requesting work visas, defining a mobile number for the Tawakkalna Application, requesting delivery of documents by mail, issuing and renewing passports, documenting lease contracts and more.

Absher Application users can access services provided by several sectors, including: the General Directorate of Passports, Civil Affairs, Traffic, General Directorate of Public Security, the Police, the General Directorate for Prisons, in addition to the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing.

Functions of the National Information Center in Absher

The National Information Center continuously updates Absher Application services. Both citizens and residents benefit from it by accessing the portals for individuals and businesses. The application is entirely free and works on smartphone systems - Android and iOS, and supports both Arabic and English languages.

Meaning of Absher

In Arabic, the word Absher implies good news or tidings, indicating pleasant and uplifting news. In the local dialect, it's used singularly to mean a quick response to a request and its efficient execution.
