Center of Cybercrimes and Digital Forensic Evidence
The Center of Cybercrimes and Digital Forensic Evidence, affiliated with Naif Arab University for Security Sciences (NAUSS) in Riyadh, is one of the university’s specialized centers. It is born out of its vision to establish itself as the foremost Arab reference in empowering Arab talents in the fields of cybercrime and digital evidence. The aim is to achieve its mission as a reliable reference in the fields of cybercrime and digital forensics through supporting and preparing research, developing academic and training programs, providing quality community awareness consultations and services, and providing a modern technical environment that helps find solutions to the most prominent digital security challenges.
The center aims to provide trainees with the skills required in the field of digital evidence so that they can collect, maintain, preserve, analyze, and prepare technical reports in accordance with international best practices. Additionally, they will be capable of applying the acquired skills in their work to locate digital evidence and effectively manage it.
Training tracks at the center of cybercrimes
The center offers four training tracks in the following fields: digital forensic evidence for multimedia, digital forensic evidence for networks, digital forensic evidence for computers, and digital forensic evidence for mobiles and drones.
Strategic objectives of the center of cybercrime
The center seeks to achieve several strategic objectives in the fields of cybercrime and digital forensics, including: transferring knowledge and experience in line with digital security challenges, providing and supporting applied research and specialized innovations, providing a modern technical environment, supporting decision-making, elevating the level of scientific and professional cooperation between relevant Arab and international entities, and enhancing societal awareness within the Arab community.
