The Cars of King Abdulaziz were vehicles acquired by the Founding King Abdulaziz Bin Abdulrahman Al Saud, and they were among the first cars to enter the Arabian Peninsula at that time. Some of these cars were presented to King Abdulaziz as gifts from Arab and foreign leaders.

Types of King Abdulaziz’s cars

King Abdulaziz Bin Abdulrahman Al Saud owned several cars, which he used for his personal transportation while inspecting regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, particularly during his journeys to the holy sites to supervise the Hajj seasons. These cars also transported his entourage of princes, officials, and guards, in addition to carrying the wireless device. Among these cars were Rolls-Royce, Cadillac, Mercedes, Dodge, Buick, Ford, Chevrolet, and Hudson. The cars at that time faced several challenges, especially due to the lack of paved roads, the scarcity of fuel and spare parts, and the small number of skilled professionals capable of maintaining vehicles, in addition to the reluctance of some segments of society to accept the presence of cars.
