The first stage of building Al Yamamah factory was initiated in Yanbu Industrial City (Yanbu 2) in 2005. In 2008, commissioning began, where the factory manufactured all main sizes of reinforcing steel, with its productivity reaching around seven hundred thousand t yearly. The company adopted the Saudi and global quality standards and specifications for all their products, available under the trade name "Al Yamamah Steel."

Al Yamamah company's production in terms of reinforcing steel is diversified. It produces sizes following Saudi and global standards and specifications, ranging between eight mm and thirty-six mm. The factory can produce other sizes, per the client's requirements. The company complies with local regulations and global standards in terms of occupational safety and health as well as environmental protection.
