
Old Riyadh housed several main and side streets that connected the gates of the cities to one another. The most notable streets include:
Al-Thumairi Street
Extending from al-Safat Square to al-Thumari Gate.
Al-Sheikh Mosque Street
Extending south from the downtown to Arair Manfuha Gate.
Dakhna Street
Known today as Mohammed Bin Abdulwahab Street.
Al-Sweilim Street
Extending from al-Sweilim Gate, north of the city.
Al-Dhahirah Street
Located within al-Dhahirah Neighborhood, it extends to the southern side of al-Safat Square.
Al-Khan Street
Extending from al-Thumari Street and zigzags south until it reaches al-Qadimah Neighborhood.
Al-Muraighib Street
Extending from the north of the area to al-Muraighib al-Shamsi Gate.
Qasr al-Hukm Southern Street
Located south of Qasr al-Hukm, to the eastern side al-Safaqat area, and extends to the western side of the old city.
Al-Mahkama Street
It ramifies from the northern side of al-Sweilim Street and extends south until al-Muqaibirah Market.
Al-Masmak Street
Located west of al-Masmak Palace, it extends from north to south until it intersects with al-Thumairi Street.
