Al-Hadithah Mosque was established in 1956 during the reign of King Saud Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. It is located northwest of al-Hadithah Center in al-Jawf Province, near the old Emara Palace. As one of the oldest heritage mosques in the region, it has been included in the Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Project for the Development of Historical Mosques.

The mosque is distinguished by its architectural style; it was constructed using stones, roofed with concrete, and had an area of approximately 229 m before its development, accommodating around sixty-five worshippers. It consisted of a prayer hall, an open courtyard on its northern side, and newly added adjacent restrooms. The mosque had a single entrance on its northern facade. After the development, the mosque now includes a prayer hall, an open courtyard, a women’s prayer area, restrooms, ablution facilities, and a minaret. Its area expanded to 280 m, increasing its capacity to accommodate approximately eighty-six worshippers.

The historical significance of al-Hadithah Mosque lies in its role as the main gateway for pilgrims arriving from Turkey, the Levant, Chechnya, and Russia. Additionally, it is the only mosque in the area where Friday prayers are performed, attracting worshippers from neighboring regions.
